National Film Board of Canada: Supreme Law

Americans are passionate about their constitution. Canadians aren’t. Supreme Law is here to change that. Experience a critical moment in the country’s history through an interactive documentary guided by an all-star cast of Canadian YouTube sensations, each representing a different perspective on the shaping of the Canadian Constitution. Indigenous people joined together on the Constitution Express to demand recognition for treaty and inherent rights. Quebec was felt betrayed, and several provinces fought the plan in court. |
